Okay, ladies. Time to decide which months you will get baking and sign up for our Cookie of the Month donations to the Youth Auction. We raised a lot of money last year and I am excited to see how much we can generate this year.
Here is how it works:
2-3 dozen cookies (depending on size) are to be homemade, packed in bakery box and delivered to the winners between the 1st and 7th of each month. Please arrange for drop off of box and label with Jane Dahlen prior to your delivery date. If you are not able to bake cookies as designated, please contact someone else from the list to trade. We will bake 2 baskets (families) each month. You can sign up for one or both.

Jane, I was chatting with Sue (Christina’s mom…can’t think of her last name…also has Skyler, and a couple others…sorry) and she said that she hadn’t seen cookie of the month on the auction and had been working on it. I’m sure it’s an over-sight on her part, but wanted to be sure that we were “in.” Anyway, I’d love to do decorated sugar cookies for February ’09 for both sets. I can provide cookies for one of the families in July. I will make my favorite – chocolate chip.
I’ll take both slots in June. I’ll make peanut butter (as long as there are no allergies; please let me know).

I noticed that one of the April slots was open. I’ll take them both. I’ll make oatmeal raisin or fudge cookies depending on my chocolate cravings. Jane, I have a law seminar in the Cities the next two days, but I’ll set up a time to pick up the boxes later this week.
